Male rhinoplasty is a distinct and highly specialized chapter in a highly specialized surgery such as rhinoplasty.
Male rhinoplasty is never a “feminization” of the nose. Each surgical modification must be designed and performed to emphasize a line of the profile that gives strength and character, and – on the front – a clear demarcation between lights and shadows.
Some patients, however, wish to “soften” their profile, and this can be achieved by re-balancing the profile line with the root, at the top, and the junction between the nasal tip and the upper lip, at the bottom.
