Falling Tip

A scarcely rotated, downwards projected tip is detrimental to the grace of the nose and may give the whole face a sad, senile appearance.

Surgery aims at repositioning the tip, sometimes using structural grafts to restore stable anatomical conditions in the columella.

The rotation of the tip determines the opening of the nasolabial corner and a subsequent improvement in nasal breathing.
